The latest version of Roblox’s popular event, The Hunt, has been officially named Roblox The Hunt: Mega Edition. The best part? The winner will take home a huge cash prize! David Baszucki, the CEO and Founder of Roblox, announced that there will be one winner who will receive $1,000,000 USD (yes, one million dollars!).
As David tweeted on March 4, 2025:
“$1,000,000 USD. One Winner. ‘Mega’ = 1M. Good luck to all! :)”
If you’re wondering whether this is a typo, it’s not. The prize amount and currency are correct. Roblox has set the stakes incredibly high, and players are already rushing to participate for a shot at this life-changing prize.
Event Details:
- Start Date: March 13, 2025
- End Date: March 24, 2025
- Mega Final: April 4, 2025

How to Participate:
- Head to the Hunt Mega Edition Hub.
- Complete quests in 25 unique experiences to earn tokens.
- Use these tokens to unlock special items in the Mega Hub.
The top 10 players will be invited to Roblox’s headquarters in San Mateo, California, to compete in the Mega Final. This final event will be live-streamed, and the ultimate winner will walk away with the $1,000,000 prize.
Eligibility:
- You must be 13 or older to win the cash prize.
- Players aged 13-17 will need parental consent and a parent must accompany them to the finals if they make it to the top 10.
- While players under 13 can’t win the cash prize, they can still earn ultra-rare digital items exclusive to the Mega Hunt.
Platforms:
You can play Roblox The Hunt: Mega Edition on PC, mobile, console, and VR. However, some experiences may not be available on all platforms, so plan accordingly.
