Fighting Styles and Weapons can be just as effective, if not more effective, if mastered. Here’s everything you need to know about Fighting Styles in Jujutsu Odyssey.

What Are Fighting Styles and How to Get Them?

Fighting Styles in Jujutsu Odyssey are unique skill trees that you can unlock if you meet certain requirements. These styles allow you to use new combat moves based on how well you are and how many skill points you put into them.

At the moment, you can unlock two Fighting Styles: New Shadow Style and Divergent Fists. Both are hand-to-hand combat experts, but New Shadow Style is particularly effective when paired with weapons, while Divergent Fists employs sheer fist attacks and the powerful Black Flash move.

How to Unlock New Shadow Style

If you want to unlock the New Shadow Style, here’s what you need to do:

NPC: Hinata

Location: New Shadow School Training Grounds

Requirements:

Reach Level 25 to start the quest

Pay 15,000 Yen

Once you unlock this Fighting Style, you can use these moves:

Evening Moon Sword Drawing (Needs 3 Skill Points)

Phantom Crescent Assault (Needs 3 Skill Points, Mastery Level 28)

New Shadow Style: Simple Domain (Needs 3 Skill Points, Mastery Level 55)

Batto Sword Drawing (Needs 3 Skill Points, Mastery Level 80)

How to Unlock Divergent Fists

To unlock the Divergent Fists Fighting Style, follow these steps:

Location: The Forest

Requirements:

Reach Level 75 to start the quest

Pay 25,000 Yen

Once you unlock this Fighting Style, you can use these moves:

Echo Strike (Needs 3 Skill Points)

Flashpoint (Needs 3 Skill Points, Mastery Level 19)

Manji Kick (Needs 3 Skill Points, Mastery Level 30)

Shock Echo (Needs 3 Skill Points, Mastery Level 45)

Hardheaded (Needs 4 Skill Points, Mastery Level 56)

Passive – The Sparks of Black (Needs 5 Skill Points, Mastery Level 75, Black Flash Skill)
